On a personal note, here is something that happened to me which was rather interesting. My wife has a problem with her thyroid which makes her have her blood tested on a regular basis. One time she had her blood tested and found out that she was prediabetic. Her sugar levels were a little bit elevated but the doctor was not too worried about the situation. My wife went on an all raw food diet in order to help with some of the nodules that were on her thyroid. To her surprise, her vision became blurry whenever she was wearing her contact lenses. When I mentioned this to her eye doctor he told me that she might have been diabetic and changed that through her diet as this will change your vision.

This will allow your doctor to treat it and to make sure that it doesn’t develop too far. At times, however, there is not anything that can really be done about it and you may end up with blindness regardless of what your doctor is able to do for it.
If you are worried about blindness because of your diabetes, the best thing that you can do is to lose some weight and make sure that you eat the proper diet so that you can regulate your sugar naturally.
